The CCM RibCor 70K Skate is the lightest, most responsive and best fitting RibCor skate to date. CCM accomplished this by eliminating The Pumpâ„¢ bladder system and replacing it with their most popular ankle support package in the NHL. This works with new Dual-Axis boot with FlexFrame Technology that allows for better range of motion, energy transfer and comfort. The 70K's Dual-Axis boot is 3D-lasted, meaning it now has a much more anatomically-correct fit around the foot compared to the 50K. This improves energy transfer and responsiveness by eliminating negative space inside. By eliminating the Pumpâ„¢ and Lace-Lockâ„¢ systems, CCM was even able to make the 70K 10% lighter than the 50K. The full composite mid-sole and outsole also assisted to lighten the load compared to injected plastic like some of the competition.
