BAUER Vapor 3X Pro S22 Intermediate Shoulder Pads are designed for intermediate ice hockey players who need a lightweight construction, excellent mobility and reliable upper-body protection. As part of the Bauer Vapor protective family, these shoulder pads feature a tapered anatomical fit that sits close to the body, helping players maintain speed, agility and natural movement during fast-paced gameplay.

The base construction uses a flexible Ventaprene vest that adapts to body movement while improving breathability and comfort. This lightweight vest construction reduces bulk and allows players to move freely while maintaining stable protection in key impact areas. The chest area features a floating Hyperlite HD sternum designed to absorb impacts from pucks, sticks and collisions while maintaining flexibility and mobility.

In the shoulder area, Bauer integrates lightweight Aerolite 2.0 shoulder caps with Connektor technology, which connect the caps to the base of the pad to improve stability while allowing better arm mobility. The back section includes a floating molded spine protector combined with extended rib coverage, improving protection in physical contact situations along the boards or during puck battles.

For additional upper-arm protection, the pads include an adjustable one-piece bicep guard with molded PE protection, allowing players to customize the fit while keeping the pads securely positioned during gameplay. Inside the shoulder pads, Bauer uses a THERMOMAX+ liner designed to wick moisture away from the body and maintain comfort during intense shifts on the ice.
