Bauer's Supreme stick line has been engineered to boost energy output making it ideal for the player that is primarily looking for strength and power in their shot. The mid-kick flex profile is softer in the middle, which makes it easier to load in that zone. The Supreme power dual taper makes for a stiffer bottom portion of the shaft which in conjunction with the Pure Shot Blade profile, an expanded throat design as you transition from shaft to blade, provides torsional stiffness in such a way that reduces the likelihood of twisting and torquing of the blade. Unlike the higher end Supreme MX3, which is a true one-piece stick, the Supreme 190 uses a more traditional fused construction. In the shaft of the stick, you will find that Bauer has used a premium lightweight 12k woven carbon fiber. 12k carbon is even better at managing stress than 3k woven carbon fiber, which has been used in high end composite sticks for years. The Supreme line of sticks have a square shaft shape with double-concave walls which is preferred among pros. The 190 is only available in the senior model but has two finishes to choose from: matte or Griptac. The blade core construction of the Supreme 190 is quite similar to that of the MX3. As Bauer’s TRU mid-kick flex profile this Nexus construction has become one of the most sought after sticks amongst NHL players. This year the revamped N7000 features Bauer’s Sweet Spot Technology, an enlarged mid kick zone that Bauer has re-engineered to allow for more efficient loading and energy transfer in your shot. The Nexus N7000 is a proven traditional fused two-piece stick composed primarily with a visible composite (carbon fiber/fiberglass) construction throughout the shaft.
