This new model showcases Bauer's new PowerSense Blade Core that is meant to maximize puck feel, as well as stick durability. The Nexus 8000's features a Tru Mid Kick Flex profile that has evolved from the Nexus 1000's original design. The shaft gives players a much more responsive feel through a softened upper handle and lower hosel. New for 2014 is Bauer's all-new PowerSense Blade Core, which is lighter and has a better feel for the puck because of higher grade foams than the previous Nexus 1000!
