Bauer's Supreme stick line has been engineered to boost energy output making it ideal for the player that is primarily looking for strength and power in their shot. The mid-kick flex profile is softer in the middle, which makes it easier to load in that zone. The Supreme power dual taper makes for a stiffer bottom portion of the shaft which in conjunction with the Pure Shot Blade profile, an expanded throat design as you transition from shaft to blade, provides torsional stiffness in such a way that reduces the likelihood of twisting and torquing of the blade. Strength and power meet precision and control in the Bauer Supreme 190 stick. Unlike the higher end Supreme MX3, which is a true one-piece stick, the Supreme 190 uses a more traditional fused construction. In the shaft of the stick, you will find that Bauer has used a premium lightweight 12k woven carbon fiber. 12k carbon is even better at managing stress than 3k woven carbon fiber, which has been used in high end composite sticks for years. The Supreme line of sticks have a square shaft shape with double-concave walls which is preferred among pros. Enhancing the nice secure grip provided from the shape is the MX3 Tac-Spiral ridges on the underside of the shaft. The 190 is only available in the senior model but has two finishes to choose from: matte or Griptac. The blade core construction of the Supreme 190 is quite similar to that of the MX3. It uses Power Sense 2 - a combination of Power Sense core, Aero Foam 3 and SENSE material along the bottom edge of the blade. This blade construction reduces overall blade weight while improving overall stick balance and increasing blade durability where you need it most. The inclusion of SENSE material in this stick is a nice upgrade, considering that it is only found in Bauer's highest models in the MX3, Nexus 8000 and Vapor APX2. In addition to added blade durability, SENSE material is excellent at absorbing energy which translates to improved feel. The outermost wrap of the blade is the same 12k woven carbon fiber that is used in the shaft plus you will also find a bit of texture to the outer coating of the blade - an elite-level feature that provides improved puck feel with pass reception. The Bauer Supreme 190 is a very high performance stick with several features and construction that can also be found in the flagship MX3 stick.
