The Extreme Flex Shield Pants features a brand new style and visual look to their already popular pants. The base of the Extreme Flex Pant is built around bringing the goaltender unrestricted movement while still providing the largest blocking surface allowed. Continuing the trend of extreme mobility, the Extreme Flex Shield Goalie Pant is designed to give the goalie a contoured fit while still giving maximum protection. The pants are redesigned to sit more snug in the waist and throughout the legs. The thigh of the pant is tapered towards the bottom and but still gives a large visual look. The taper on the legs allows the pants to channel into the butterfly position against the pads and will not let the thigh get stuck on the outer edge of the pad. On the inside and outside of the legs, there is removable padding that allows the goalies to customize their fit and shape depending on the knee pads the goalie uses. The top of the pant features a taller waist with extra pieces for more articulation. Combined with the reshaped tailbone protection, the pant fits higher at the front but lower at the back for more breathability and motion. The composite construction of the previous Reactor line has been replaced with a more traditional and reliable foam core construction that goalies of all skill levels will love. The paddle of the Reactor 9000 is constructed of a high density urethane core combined with 10 carbon strips running the length of the paddle to add stiffness and reduce breakage. This layup is manufactured in a traditional, symmetrical paddle geometry for goalies who prefer a classic feel and performance. It wouldn’t be a Bauer stick without the latest and greatest technology. In the 9000, the designers have included a Carbon Triaxial Braid carbon weave to reinforce the blade, again adding stiffness and reducing breakage in the high impact areas. An additional reinforced shooter strip along the length of the blade prevents blade flex, allowing for more consistent deflections and puck handling. Brand new for 2017, CCM continues to take the goalie mask category by storm by revamping and improving on their previous designs. The CCM 1.9 Senior Goal mask is an NHL inspired shell which includes improvements to increase vision, in the liner and with a lighter shell. The shell of the mask is constructed of a fiberglass base to provide a stiff shell, while staying incredibly light.
