The CCM QuickLite Hockey Elbow Pads are the flagship CCM QLT elbow pads and provide unbelievably lightweight, elite-level protection. The QuickLite elbows have a 3-piece design with floating bicep and forearm guards to allow the arm to move freely and flex without the pad getting in the way. This is also the only elbow pad in the lineup to use the extremely lightweight and protective Zotefoam®. Using Zotefoam®, the elbow pads are able to significantly cut down weight without sacrificing protection. The bicep guard uses the Zotefoam®, in combination with a molded HD foam to wrap around the upper arm and offer great protection. Along the outside of the arm, CCM also uses their Ventshield, which is an engineered sturdy plastic piece that's vented to allow air to flow through to the pad while protecting that area. Inside the pad, CCM uses Dry Foam technology to reduce the weight of the pad by using closed-cell foams that absorb less sweat.
