In the hip, CCM uses a pro-level JDP cap construction designed to disperse the force of impact away from the hip joint, while also enhancing overall protection. The hip cap also includes PE foam which further protects this area from common impacts like collisions, contact with the ice, and blocked shots. CCM uses molded PE for advanced protection in key areas of the pant. A molded PE cap is included in both the kidney area and thigh guard of the 9060.
