CCM Premier R1.9 Intermediate Goalie Leg Pads. pads are designed to produce powerful rebounds that allow the goaltender to reset and move into position for a potential second save. The leg pads achieve this due to the extremely rigid internal foams that give excellent re-distribution of energy. While the pads have no visible breaks there is a single internal core break below the knee to allow better flexibility, and CCM has kept the pad above the knee completely rigid to ensure a strong 5 hole closure. The thin profile design helps improve center of mass when moving and dropping into the butterfly, as well as reduces weight, resulting in the light Premier pad. Strapping safety is in the Premier R1.9 goal is achieved throughout the back of the leg channel with a new Pro strapping system.
