The CCM RibCor 70K Skate is the lightest, most responsive and best fitting RibCor skate to date. CCM accomplished this by eliminating The Pump™ bladder system and replacing it with their most popular ankle support package in the NHL. This works with new Dual-Axis boot with FlexFrame Technology that allows for better range of motion, energy transfer and comfort. The 70K's Dual-Axis boot is 3D-lasted, meaning it now has a much more anatomically-correct fit around the foot compared to the 50K. This improves energy transfer and responsiveness by eliminating negative space inside. By eliminating the Pump™ and Lace-Lock™ systems, CCM was even able to make the 70K 10% lighter than the 50K. The full composite mid-sole and outsole also assisted to lighten the load compared to injected plastic like some of the competition. The CCM Ribcor 68K skates offer elite composite technology in a traditional boot construction. The Ribcor line is designed to provide a flexible boot with a contoured and snug fit for all players. A contoured heel lock design replaces the need for the Pump while offering a snug and comfortable fit. The quarter package of the 68K is made of a 3D-lasted composite which provides a better and more comfortable fit overall and lateral stability. The FlexFrame technology core provides flexion in the eyelet areas for a biomechanically correct stride and provides reinforcements that are strategically placed to increase durability. A TotalDri liner uses a premium material that is specially designed to wick moisture and sweat away from the foot to keep the boot lightweight and your feet feeling dry and durazone abrasion patches are attached at the top eyelets on either side to reduce wear and tear from the tongue. The tongue of the skate features a white felt Tritech construction that is molded to a player?s feet and ankles. The skate’s interior and overall boot construction are significantly upgraded for class-leading performance. The quarter package on the Jetspeed 380 is CCM’s RocketFrame Composite model—the same as in last year’s top-of-the-line Jetspeed. This year, the boot features the SpeedCore II for elite-level stiffness—a very nice feature for a performance-level skate. CCM cores bake well and will give any shaped foot a customized fit and feel. The boot also features Smooth Contour Pro ankle wraps to alleviate high-ankle abrasions. The FT380 tongue is upgraded over the 370 tongue with thicker foam. The tongue includes additional thick foams down the center for a pro-styled feel. The embossed guard helps alleviate lace bite and protects the top of the foot from pucks and slashes. The FT380 interior has been upgraded with CCM’s premier Total-Dri liner to wick away unvented moisture, and offers superior abrasion protection. The liner’s DuraZone abrasion patches at the top of the boot help extend the liner’s life by reducing the wear that typically results from shin guards positioned beneath the tongue. Smooth Contour collar pads also help reduce high-ankle abrasions, and multi-density memory foam ankle pads comfortably lock the skater’s foot into the boot for better control. The FT380 features CCM’s Anatomical Response footbed with a thin layer of foam but an ample contact area between the foot and the skate. The fit profile of the FT380 is medium volume, like all Jetspeed skates. It has a slightly narrow forefoot and heel thanks to CCM’s well-known heel lock and a more tapered toe. While the instep is a standard medium volume, the overall fit is a little more snug, just right for players with in-between-sized feet. The CCM FT380 skate includes a variety of elite-level features, but still manages to retain a mid-range price point, making attributes normally reserved for premium skates available to a broad swath of performance-level skaters. The Bauer Supreme S29 goalie pants are a performance level protective goalie pant that feature some key upgrades over the previous generation’s model. The key upgrade for the S29 goalie pants is the inclusion of PORON® hip floaters. The PORON® foam is designed to help withstand and minimize impacts to keep you protected and comfortable on the ice. When it comes to fit and adjustment on the S29 goalie pants, Bauer has built the Supreme line to have an anatomical fit in the waist and too include a new inner belt system for secure waist adjustment. The CCM Tacks 5092 Ice Hockey Pants feature good protection for the intermediate player by offering solid protection in all the critical areas. To boost durability, CCM reinforced their nylon shell with abrasion panels in high-wear areas. The liner above the waist is an upgraded microfiber that is very soft and moisture wicking, while the legs are lined with low-density foams for comfort and mesh for breathability. The same highly protective combination of molded hard plastic (PE) and beefy medium-density foams can be found in the kidney protector, tailbone insert and lower thigh guards.
