The CCM Super Tacks Ice Hockey Girdle w/Shell offers the ultimate custom fit and pro-level protection. This girdle provides the ability to adjust the thigh guards both horizontally and vertically. This gives the wearer the ability to acquire a snugger fit or a more traditional fit while still being able to make sure that the length fits them in the most comfortable and protective way possible. Also adjustable is the floating spine guard which is equipped with D3O foam and sturdy HD foam for pro-level impact absorption. The 2017 Nexus lineup from Bauer is all about allowing you to hit what you’re aiming for every time. As Bauer’s TRU mid-kick flex profile this Nexus construction has become one of the most sought after sticks amongst NHL players. This year the revamped N7000 features Bauer’s Sweet Spot Technology, an enlarged mid kick zone that Bauer has re-engineered to allow for more efficient loading and energy transfer in your shot. The Nexus N7000 is a proven traditional fused two-piece stick composed primarily with a visible composite (carbon fiber/fiberglass) construction throughout the shaft. Probably the biggest change to this stick is going to be with the introduction of Bauer’s Control Shaft geometry. In order to improve grip and contact with the stick, the N7000 comes tooled with shaft corners that have been made 14% rounder than the previous Nexus geometry. To finish off this new rounded feel the N7000 will only be available in a nice Griptac finish. Moving further down the stick, you will find the Power Profile Dual Taper. This is a moderate taper that provides a little more thickness in the hosel of the tapered area to boost torsional stiffness and durability in order to allow you to more easily load up for powerful shots. Bauer's expanded throat of the Pure Shot Blade Profile also means less torquing and twisting, thus improving accuracy and blade control. Moving down to the blade; the internals are composed of a dual density foam core blade which still has a softer feel to help compliment the Sweet Spot Mid Kick point. Continuing on one of the most anticipated new lines in goaltending in the recent years, Bauer has brought one of the most engineered and technologically advanced lines of gear to the goalie market. The Vapor X700 skate is packed with new features which strive to change the face of goaltending. With the success of the “cowlingless” goalie skate, the Vapor X700 skate is designed to increase the attack angle of goalies moving while in the butterfly position as well as recoveries and movements around the crease. The outer cowling has been removed and a “traditional” looking player holder has been added to the boot. The boot and the toe cap have been stiffened and reinforced to protect against any shots on the toe. Included in the new Vertexx Edge Holder is the 3mm LS1G steel specifically designed for the anatomical position the goalie will be in. This steel is removed via the Edge Trigger system found under the heel and gives goalie the opportunity to change their steel on the fly. The Vapor X700 boot has more volume in the width and ankle, when compared to the Supreme counterpart. This means that the eyelets are moved forward so there can be more wrap and tightness in the ankle area. The boot has a fully symmetrical design where the inside and outside edge of the boot is the same height to give the goalie more support running up the inside and outside of the leg. The Bauer Nexus N7000 hockey pant is the base model in the latest Nexus pant line that features a classic construction to offer a wide, volume fit. This pant was designed to promote mobility and maximum coverage and protection at a fraction of the cost. Starting with the thigh guard, a 2-piece ergonomic PE plastic guard is used and has been made to comfortably wrap around the thighs. Moving on up to the hip, Bauer kept it simple with an effective molded dome construction PE cap that offers great protection. To reduce overall weight, the spine guard has been outfitted with high density foam and an added plastic insert to really protect from falls on the ice or collisions with other players. The kidneys feature mid-density foam with an additional PE insert as a reinforcement to the upper part of the pant. To keep everything contained, an abrasion resistant 400 Denier nylon outer shell holds it all together. For comfort, the N7000 is lined with a hydrophobic mesh liner. This lining material is moisture wicking keeping these pads dry to keep the player feeling cool and lightweight during game play. For easy attachment these pants use a mid-density padded belt system and come with a hockey lace to really complete that traditional look.
