Brand new for 2019 are the CCM JetSpeed FT470 Senior Hockey Skates! The CCM JetSpeed FT470 Skates build upon the concepts that made the JetSpeed line one of the best on the market by making key improvements to help maximize comfort, durability, quickness, and top speed! Jumping right into the boot, CCM has gone with a MetaFrame Technology infused quarter package. This lightweight composite boot features an ergonomic shape, which hugs the foot all the way around, ensuring that your heel stays locked in place to help generate maximum speed! The quarter package is constructed with CCM’s RocketFrame composite material. This NHL-caliber material is not only extremely lightweight but features elite levels of protection and durability, as well. CCM incorporated a 7mm felt tongue with molded Lace-bite Protection on their new JetSpeed FT470 Skates. This design provides ultimate protection and comfort and is paired with lace-bite protection that better protects high-wear areas for improved longevity! On the interior of the skates, the JetSpeed FT470 Hockey Skates feature CCM’s HD Microfiber liner. This lightweight material helps wick away any moisture, helping keep your feet dry and your skates light. For durability purposes, CCM included their DuraZone Abrasion Protection. These are abrasion patches that have been added to the interior of the boot where the eyelets are. These are high-wear areas, and by adding this feature, it greatly increases boot durability and comfort. Continuing on the comfort aspect, CCM again incorporated their smooth contour pro padding around the collar of the boot, which provides improved durability and superior foot and ankle comfort. The CCM Ribcor 68K skates offer elite composite technology in a traditional boot construction. The Ribcor line is designed to provide a flexible boot with a contoured and snug fit for all players. A contoured heel lock design replaces the need for the Pump while offering a snug and comfortable fit. The quarter package of the 68K is made of a 3D-lasted composite which provides a better and more comfortable fit overall and lateral stability. The FlexFrame technology core provides flexion in the eyelet areas for a biomechanically correct stride and provides reinforcements that are strategically placed to increase durability. A TotalDri liner uses a premium material that is specially designed to wick moisture and sweat away from the foot to keep the boot lightweight and your feet feeling dry and durazone abrasion patches are attached at the top eyelets on either side to reduce wear and tear from the tongue. The tongue of the skate features a white felt Tritech construction that is molded to a player?s feet and ankles. The tongue includes additional thick foams down the center for a pro-styled feel. The embossed guard helps alleviate lace bite and protects the top of the foot from pucks and slashes. The FT380 interior has been upgraded with CCM’s premier Total-Dri liner to wick away unvented moisture, and offers superior abrasion protection. The liner’s DuraZone abrasion patches at the top of the boot help extend the liner’s life by reducing the wear that typically results from shin guards positioned beneath the tongue. Smooth Contour collar pads also help reduce high-ankle abrasions, and multi-density memory foam ankle pads comfortably lock the skater’s foot into the boot for better control. The FT380 features CCM’s Anatomical Response footbed with a thin layer of foam but an ample contact area between the foot and the skate. The fit profile of the FT380 is medium volume, like all Jetspeed skates. It has a slightly narrow forefoot and heel thanks to CCM’s well-known heel lock and a more tapered toe. While the instep is a standard medium volume, the overall fit is a little more snug, just right for players with in-between-sized feet.
