CCM QuickLite Junior Elbow Pads. The QuickLite (QLT) elbow features VentShield and ZoteFoam technologies. The combination of VentShield and ZoteFoam are the key components in making these pads not only very protective but also contributes to the pads lightweight. VentShield is the hard perforated plastic found protecting the bicep, while the ZoteFoam is found on the forearm guard. ZoteFoam is lightweight and impact resistant helping the player to remain comfortable and protected. With both of these working together the QLT elbow pads take breathability, protection, and optimized weight to the next level. To provide excellent mobility, the QuickLite was designed as a 3-piece construction made with DryFoam Technology which is a closed cell foam that absorbs less sweat to allow the elbow pads to remain lightweight and comfortable throughout the game. The elbow cap is the fan favorite JDP design that provides better shock absorption against both hard and soft impacts. Both the bicep guard and forearm guard are floating which provides a lot of flexibility. For extra protection in the forearm CCM included a segmented molded high density foam overlay which provides a really good wrap and lightweight protection.The liner is made with a moisture wicking premium mesh which is very soft and cushioned so your arm will be dryer and more comfortable. The CCM QuickLite Hockey Elbow Pads are the flagship CCM QLT elbow pads and provide unbelievably lightweight, elite-level protection. The QuickLite elbows have a 3-piece design with floating bicep and forearm guards to allow the arm to move freely and flex without the pad getting in the way. This is also the only elbow pad in the lineup to use the extremely lightweight and protective Zotefoam®. Using Zotefoam®, the elbow pads are able to significantly cut down weight without sacrificing protection. The bicep guard uses the Zotefoam®, in combination with a molded HD foam to wrap around the upper arm and offer great protection. Along the outside of the arm, CCM also uses their Ventshield, which is an engineered sturdy plastic piece that's vented to allow air to flow through to the pad while protecting that area.
