New for 2016, the Legendary Leferve design team brings you the reengineered CCM line of equipment. The Extreme Flex Shield Pants features a brand new style and visual look to their already popular pants. The base of the Extreme Flex Pant is built around bringing the goaltender unrestricted movement while still providing the largest blocking surface allowed. Continuing the trend of extreme mobility, the Extreme Flex Shield Goalie Pant is designed to give the goalie a contoured fit while still giving maximum protection. The pants are redesigned to sit more snug in the waist and throughout the legs. The thigh of the pant is tapered towards the bottom and but still gives a large visual look. The taper on the legs allows the pants to channel into the butterfly position against the pads and will not let the thigh get stuck on the outer edge of the pad. On the inside and outside of the legs, there is removable padding that allows the goalies to customize their fit and shape depending on the knee pads the goalie uses. The top of the pant features a taller waist with extra pieces for more articulation. Combined with the reshaped tailbone protection, the pant fits higher at the front but lower at the back for more breathability and motion. The protection on the thighs of the pants has High Density and Polyethylene foams to help deaden rebounds and keep pucks in tight for goalies to get quicker whistles. Brand new for 2017, CCM continues to take the goalie mask category by storm by revamping and improving on their previous designs. The CCM 1.9 Senior Goal mask is an NHL inspired shell which includes improvements to increase vision, in the liner and with a lighter shell. The shell of the mask is constructed of a fiberglass base to provide a stiff shell, while staying incredibly light. Inside the shell, there is a Triple Density VN liner coupled with I.Q.Shion foam in strategic reinforcements to provide the most comfortable foam system giving the goalie the best comfort and protection. The CCM Tacks 6092 Goalie Ice Hockey Skates have many of the same features found on the highest price point model. They are designed with a stiff construction that has an asymmetrical boot cut to allow a deeper crouch and more explosive movements. The CCM Premier R1.5 leg pads are designed to produce powerful rebounds that allow the goaltender to reset and move into position for a potential second save, engineered to give the goaltender optimal weight balance when in the butterfly, reverse VH and recovery movements.
