The Vapor line by Bauer is designed to be lightweight, foster mobility, and enhance performance. The goalie sticks are no exception to this ideology. New for 2017, the 1X uses new technology and expert craftsmanship to provide goalies with a one-of-a-kind experience. The 1X has the feel and puck dampening that many love about foam core sticks, but with the weight and durability of a composite stick. Bauer uses INNEGRA fiber, woven with carbon reinforcement to provide maximum durability, and the core of the paddle features Balsa wood to increase dampening properties and dramatically reduce the weight. The paddle is also contoured to have a flat face and rounded back, giving goalies optimal balance in their stances and improved feel while puck handling. The blade of the 1X employs Bauer’s AERO FOAM 3 blade core, which balances the weight of the stick and creates a more consistent feel of the puck. INNEGRA fiber extends to wrap the outside of the blade as well, increasing durability in the highest-traffic area of the stick. The composite shaft is complete with a GripTac shoulder and double-concave walls, giving goalies a more secure hand placement in stance and increasing maneuverability on the handle respectively. The Reebok Premier 24k Goalie Stick is constructed with a lightweight OPS. This feature keeps the stick light and provides an inner weave that helps reduce vibrations to better control rebounds. The stiffness profile of the stick is the same one that the vast majority of the NHL goaltenders prefer, which is a traditional feel that helps control rebounds and make passes more effectively. Reebok's Accublade technology allows goaltenders to better control their passes because of the additional stability and stiffness throughout the blade. Think you know Reactor sticks? Think again. For 2015, the entire Reactor line of sticks has been revamped to offer goalies with even more options while choosing their companion of choice. The composite construction of the previous Reactor line has been replaced with a more traditional and reliable foam core construction that goalies of all skill levels will love. The paddle of the Reactor 9000 is constructed of a high density urethane core combined with 10 carbon strips running the length of the paddle to add stiffness and reduce breakage. This layup is manufactured in a traditional, symmetrical paddle geometry for goalies who prefer a classic feel and performance. It wouldn’t be a Bauer stick without the latest and greatest technology. In the 9000, the designers have included a Carbon Triaxial Braid carbon weave to reinforce the blade, again adding stiffness and reducing breakage in the high impact areas. An additional reinforced shooter strip along the length of the blade prevents blade flex, allowing for more consistent deflections and puck handling. The shaft is constructed of an aspen core, reinforced with carbons strips for both reinforcement and improving shaft stiffness. The Reactor 7000 is a continuation of this construction, bringing the success of the 7500 to a new label and graphics. The paddle of the stick is a traditional high-impact polyurethane, complemented nicely by an aspen core shaft with carbon strips running the length for reinforcement. The blade of the stick is a traditional polyurethane foam core, with added reinforced shooter strip on the front for added blade stiffness and more reliable puck deflections. Liked the 7500?
