With a few key additions, these elbow pads are designed to give players the comfort, and protection they need to perform at their peak levels! Starting at the top of the Tacks 9060 Elbow Pads, CCM went with an articulated bicep using molded foam. This construction provides players with excellent comfort and protection in the bicep area! Just below the bicep protection is the JDP reinforced elbow cap! This lightweight, elite-level construction helps disperse the force of direct impacts away from the elbow joints. Moving down to the forearm, the Tacks 9060 Elbow Pads utilize molded PE foam that provides good protection all the way down the entire forearm to just above the cuff of your gloves. CCM QuickLite Junior Elbow Pads. The QuickLite (QLT) elbow features VentShield and ZoteFoam technologies. The combination of VentShield and ZoteFoam are the key components in making these pads not only very protective but also contributes to the pads lightweight. VentShield is the hard perforated plastic found protecting the bicep, while the ZoteFoam is found on the forearm guard. ZoteFoam is lightweight and impact resistant helping the player to remain comfortable and protected. With both of these working together the QLT elbow pads take breathability, protection, and optimized weight to the next level.
