The Bauer Supreme 1S Youth shoulder pad has arrived to give elite level protection and mobility to the future stars of the game to take their skills to the next level. Some youth gear can be a little on the clunky side, but the Supreme line uses an anatomical fit to keep the shoulder pad close-to-the-body to allow for maximum mobility. Increased mobility for a younger player can go a long way to getting them playing at a higher level.
Molded MD foam with PE inserts has been added for increased sternum protection to minimize damage from any direct chest impacts. The Vent Armor foam on the MX3 was featured on the sternum but has instead been moved to the front side panels on the 1S Supreme. This allows for far more protection throughout the body and significantly decreases the weight in those areas. The 1-piece bicep guard on the 1S is adjustable to give a little more customizability ad growth room to the pad. The bicep guard also gives the player protection through the use of MD foam with PE inserts.
Clavicle vulnerability is minimized on the 1S Supreme through the use of molded HD and MD foams to add extra layers of protection in that area. The liner has been upgraded as well from the MX3 and features Bauer's revolutionary 37.5 liner, which uses your own body heat for sweat and moisture evaporation.
